Dr. Rishi P. Singh earned his undergraduate degree in medical science and his MD from Boston University. He completed his internship at Tufts University, his ophthalmology residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School, and a medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic’s Cole Eye Institute. He is currently Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Mass General Brigham and Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. His clinical and research interests span complex retinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, as well as the use of big data and artificial intelligence in ophthalmology. He also leads the Center for Ophthalmic Bioinformatics.
